Having arrived in Hereford via Norfolk, Durham, France and Cambridge, I love the hills here and the walking too. I enjoy life outdoors both here and overseas, especially in France and Spain where I can practise my languages for fun rather than just as a teacher. I am happy exploring new places, love a tent and open skies , but just as comfy in a nice hotel too. Family is important to me but mine are grown and independent, which leaves me free to do new things - an opportunity to be relished. Very happy to try new things- still bags of energy and a desire to explore! I enjoy a good discussion, but equally happy just to share space in silence.. open minded and a good listener, I love getting to know people well.
My Passions
- Walking - wild places: coast,hills,off the beaten track.
- Travelling - especially lesser known France and Spain
- Reading - almost anything!
- Cooking - especially for other people.
- Trying to paint - a work in progress!
- Kayaking - see painting!
- Yoga- though not as bendy as I'd like to be!
